Everythink. Landing page for the recruitment platform
Background
Being a student at KIMEP University, I noticed a clear problem in how companies hired interns and fresh graduates. Many recruiters failed to find the best students. The reason was simple: recruiters spent all their time in offices. Their only window to the external world was a computer screen. Their tools were online platforms like HeadHunter or LinkedIn. But those platforms could not show them who the real leaders were in universities, in classrooms, or in student life. To solve this, I created a recruitment platform called Everythink. Its focus was students and fresh graduates with great potential. To find those candidates, I’ve implemented the know-hows that I learned thanks to Talent Network, the commmunity of talented students that I started at KIMEP.

Outcome
At first, the idea seemed strong, but the market was not ready. After pitching the platform to several companies, I learned that recruiters were not interested in a separate tool. They were comfortable with their existing, time-consuming workflow, even if it meant hiring only average students. Because of this, I decided to close the project.
However, the experience did not go to waste. A few years later, I became a full-time recruiter at Deloitte. There, I faced the recruitment challenges myself. I saw how hard it was to identify the best young talent using the tools available. This pushed me to search for a better solution. Over time, I developed an innovative, merit-based scoring system. Unlike traditional, relevance-based systems, it could instantly highlight the most skilled professionals in any field and the most promising students in any school. That idea became the foundation for my startup, Talentli.
