Pictogram system for AlmaU Urban Center

Background

In Summer 2024, I was contacted by the team behind the Center for Urban Studies at Almaty Management University. The assignment was to design an engaging visual identity for their upcoming series of events about public spaces.

Outcome

I approached this project with great enthusiasm and developed a system of clean, timeless pictograms. I used the official color palette from the United Nations’ 17 Goals visual identity. The pictograms could be combined in many ways, so the design worked for any format or material. This made it easy to create a variety of marketing collateral, including banners, t-shirts, and online graphics. The final result proved to be engaging, easy to recognize, and unique.
