Reis. UI for the warehouse management system
Background
In early 2025, I was invited by the team at a startup called Reis. The assignment was to design the complete user interface for their SaaS product – an online warehouse management system. The challenge was to make it intuitive, easy to use, while maintaining complexity. The product needed to handle complex inventory operations, yet remain accessible for users with varying levels of technical expertise.
My approach began with understanding the workflow of warehouse operations and mapping out the system’s core functions. Early on, we decided to keep it similar to Microsoft Excel. I focused on creating a clear information hierarchy (layers) and intuitive navigation (panels).
Outcome
The final design combines simplicity in presentation with the depth needed for advanced operations. As the team at Reis continues to develop the system, my contribution became a foundation for their product development. It supports their mission to streamline warehouse management for small-size businesses.
